Danielle Brown is Vice President, Disney Advertising Sales. In this role, Brown oversees multimillion dollar investments from Publicis Groupe agencies including Connect@Publicis, Digitas, Publicis Sapient, Spark Foundry and Starcom. She leverages insights, data and solutions to lead marketing efforts across Disney’s portfolio of brands including ABC, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital Network, ESPN Networks, Freeform, FX Networks and National Geographic Networks.
Brown has spent two decades at The Walt Disney Company, beginning her career as a sales planner at ESPN. Over the years, she has worked extensively on upfront strategies and negotiations and developed expertise in creating sponsorship opportunities and custom advertising strategies for brands and agencies. Prior to Disney, Brown represented clients on the agency side as an assistant buyer at Universal McCann.
Brown is committed to advancing diversity in the workplace and the industry at large. She leads a team of advocates on diversity and inclusion initiatives at The Walt Disney Company and recently spearheaded efforts to secure Disney Advertising Sales’ sponsorship of ADCOLOR in 2019. Brown was named to Cablefax’s 2019 Diversity List, honoring influential leaders who are shaping the media industry. In 2018, she completed the NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) Executive Leadership Development Program at University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
