Yulkendy Valdez is a Forbes 30 under 30 social entrepreneur and public speaker. While studying business at the #1 school of entrepreneurship, Babson College, she co-founded a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultancy, Forefront. For five years, Forefront worked with leading organizations, including SAP and Accenture, while receiving investment from top accelerators such as Techstars. She is currently a consultant and coach for leading entrepreneurial organizations supporting underrepresented tech entrepreneurs, including LAFamilia, Camelback Ventures, and 4.0 Schools.
Media outlets, including NPR, USA Today, The Washington Post, Huffington Post, Vice Impact, and Boston Globe, have featured her since she was 14, participating in the National Spelling Bee after speaking English for only two years. More recently, her story has been published in Dale Carnegie’s latest book, Take Command, and she has been recognized as a One Young World ambassador, BostInno 50 on Fire and Latino 30 Under 30
