Valerie spent 33 years in Corporate America leading businesses through change and transformation, first at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FBRNY), and then JPMorgan Chase (JPMC). She has a unique combination of skills and experiences including former regulator, go-to leader during the financial crisis, and change-maker in DEI, all of which make her a sought after thought-partner, consultant, and advisor.
Valerie’s career culminated in creating JPMC’s Advancing Black Leaders strategy where she led the firm’s historic gains of 50%+ increase in black executive leadership in just three years. The blueprint she created has become a model for driving greater equity in business.
Valerie is now Principal in a consulting firm that she founded, Elloree Talent Strategies, that partners with organizations to drive improved equity, analytics, and workforce representation of diverse talent. Elloree specializes in Independent Equity Assessments and helping organizations pinpoint where to focus their DEI efforts, set realistic and attainable goals and drive actionable solutions.
