Suheily Natal Davis leads Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy and alignment for McDonald’s. Suheily has been with the Brand since 2014. She has a law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, and a certification in Leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through Northwestern University. Before formally working in the DEI space, Suheily served in several capacities on the McDonald’s Global Legal team, including as General Counsel for McDonald’s Latin America and Senior Counsel on the Global Labor & Employment team.

Suheily was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Chicago when she was three years old. Growing up, Suheily spent the school year on the South Side of Chicago and her summers in the mountains of Puerto Rico. This upbringing allowed her to grow up bilingual and truly bicultural both experiences shaping her perspective and who she is today. As the first in her family to attend law school, Suheily has a passion for encouraging inclusion, fostering mentoring relationships and having candid conversations on race, gender and equity in corporate spaces. Suheily has served in leadership roles for several organizations aimed specifically at increasing the meaningful retention and participation of women of color in corporate America, including on the Board of Directors for the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program and the Board of Directors of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Illinois. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She credits the mentorship she received from women in each of these organizations for her professional success.

In addition to the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation where she sits on the Executive Committee, Suheily currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), the National Employment Law Council, and on the DePaul University College of Law Alumni Diversity Council. She and her spouse, George, also run their own small non-profit, The Perfect Cadence, supporting expecting families experiencing financial need. Suheily and George live on the West Side of Chicago with their two children.
