Sarah Gorney
Senior DEI Manager, Toast
Sarah Gorney is an experienced diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioner with 15 years of experience in the media, technology, and nonprofit fields. She is currently the Senior Manager for DEI at Toast, which empowers the restaurant community through technology, and was previously the head of DEI at Hulu and a DEI lead at Disney. She has built and developed DEI strategies and teams from the ground up, with an emphasis on supporting employee engagement and advocating for the employee experience. Sarah is passionate about creating a workplace culture where everyone feels like they belong. She has a BA from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and resides in Los Angeles’ extraordinary Santa Monica Mountains region.
