Michelle is the Head of Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Talent Management Integration & Equal Employment Programs with Amazon Corporate. She is responsible for strategically connecting dots across all of the Amazon lines of business to influence growth in diversity representation and retention. Her team infuses inclusion and diversity as a business imperative at every stage of the talent process; acquistion, retention and beyond.
Michelle has a passion for connecting the power of people, innovation and technology to drive positive change. She is a catalyst for bold thinking and known as a transformational leader with the unique ability to ideated and builds teams to innovate beyond traditional talent, operations and D&I initiatives.
She is a Certified Diversity Professional, Certified Staffing Specialist, Certified Data Scientist Leader. Certified in Design Thinking, a Trusted Business Strategist and a Graduated of Leadership NC. She has lead teams in Sales, Services, Operations and HR organizations
Michelle has been married to James for 25 years, has 2 children, is an avid reader and huge fan of Ted Talks. She has been living with Multiple Sclerosis since 2003 and serves on MS Board as a Trustee.
