Mary Robinson Carter is a Financial Advisor and President of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Women’s Exchange at Merrill. Mary is the first black woman to graduate from the Financial Advisor Development Program in the Washington, D.C market and she is passionate about working with other women trailblazers across all industries. Mary looks to create lasting value in clients’ financial lives, helping people resolve issues, uncover possible inefficiencies, weigh crucial decisions, and plan for the future. With a background in tech, she works with many entrepreneurs and C-Suite executives providing them with comprehensive financial planning and investment management. Her specialty is to provide tax efficient investment management and financial planning for clients with stock concentrations and/or complex investing parameters/restrictions due to their professional affiliations. Mary is a graduate from Elon University and she and her husband live in Fort Washington, MD.
