Margaret Serravalli

Margaret “Maggie” Serravalli is chief financial officer of Fidelity Investments, FMR LLC. Additionally, Ms. Serravalli is head of Corporate Services for the firm. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and individuals.
Ms. Serravalli assumed her current role in 2020 and oversees the enterprise-level financial management of the firm as well as Human Resources, Global Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate Real Estate, Government Relations & Public Policy, and Communications. Prior to this role, Ms. Serravalli was executive vice president of Fidelity’s Health Care Group, where she led Fidelity’s business efforts in multiple health care markets, including Health Savings Accounts, Health and Welfare, and various other growth opportunities.
Prior to her role in the Health Care Group, Ms. Serravalli led the client experience effort in Fidelity Institutional for seven years, where she was responsible for the strategy and implementation of the end-to-end service experience for Fidelity’s clients in the clearing and custody market, including banks and broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, professional asset managers, strategic acquirers and retirement advisors and administrators. Her purview also included service support for the single-family, multi-family and wealthy-family segments of Fidelity’s Family Office business. From 2016 to 2017, Ms. Serravalli added to her existing responsibilities by serving as head of Fidelity’s Enterprise Relationship Group, which is responsible for growing the firm’s largest corporate client relationships.
Ms. Serravalli has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2007, Ms. Serravalli held numerous senior management positions in the Investment Bank division of JPMorgan and its predecessor firms. During her tenure with the company, Ms. Serravalli served as managing director and head of operations for various global product areas, including Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income Securities, Commodities, Futures and Prime Brokerage.
From 2017-2020, Ms. Serravalli served as executive sponsor of “Aspire,” a Fidelity Employee Resource Group that champions a diverse workplace, marketplace and community. Ms. Serravalli is a recipient of the 2015 NJBIZ Top 50 Women in Business Award. The annual award recognizes women in New Jersey for their professional and personal accomplishments, as well as their community involvement and advocacy for women. Previously, Ms. Serravalli served on the board for Citizen Schools, a national nonprofit organization that partners with middle schools to expand the learning day for children in low-income communities.
Ms. Serravalli earned her bachelor of science degree in accounting from St. John’s University. She holds a CPA certification and Series 7 and 24 licenses.
