Edwina Aba Akuamoa is a Human Resources professional with about 15 years’ cumulative experience in Strategic HR, Change Management, HR Consulting, Talent Acquisition and Management, and Inclusion and Diversity. Her experience spans across a variety of industries, including banking, finance, consulting and mining. Edwina is passionate about creating a work environment where everyone, regardless of their uniqueness, is respected, valued and supported. She is currently the Senior Manager, Inclusion and Diversity at Newmont Corporation, the world’s leading gold mining company. In her current role based in Denver, Colorado, she partners with leaders to deliver internal strategies across Newmont’s global portfolio to create and sustain a culture of inclusion and retain diverse talent. Prior to this, she worked for nine years in the various Talent Management workstreams in Newmont’s Africa Region, leading Talent Acquisition and Inclusion and Diversity.
Edwina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana, and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Nottingham Trent University, UK.
