Vice President Stores Human Resources | Target

Christine Robles is currently the Vice President of Stores HR at Target Corporation. As the VP of Stores HR, she is responsible for creating, overseeing, and implementing HR strategies and programs for nearly 350,000 team members in over 1,950 stores. These HR strategies and programs include staffing forecasting, hiring practices, talent management, team engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion, HR operations, and employee and labor relations management. These strategic initiatives help align Stores HR to Target’s long-term business growth strategies. Additionally, Ms. Robles provides and oversees best-in-class HR generalist support and service to team members and leaders across stores, field, and headquarters locations.

Prior to her current role she held various field leadership positions including VP roles for the Northern region and Southern region of Target Stores where she was responsible for overseeing and implementing the HR strategies in over 575 stores and the career planning, development, and retention for over 85,000 leaders and team members.

She began her career with Target in 1992 as a cashier and has been promoted to several positions throughout the Stores and Human Resources organizations in her 31 years of service. She received her BBA in Business Management from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Ms. Robles has been a long-standing supporter of HACR and is highly committed to Hispanic and Latin communities. At Target she leads a connection network for Latina team members across the organization. Outside of Target, she spends time mentoring and sponsoring Latina business leaders across other businesses and industries.
