Candi Castleberry
Vice President, Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Amazon
A visionary, change-agent, Candi Castleberry is the Vice President of Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion at Amazon. Under Candi’s leadership, Amazon launched Inclusive Communities, a new program focused on delivering DEI global initiatives for the Indigenous, transgender and LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, and military workforce. She also sits on Amazon’s senior leadership team, or S-Team.
Prior to this she was Vice President of Intersectionality, Culture, and Diversity at Twitter. She is also the founder of the award-winning Dignity & Respect Campaign, which has helped organizations create environments of dignity and respect. As an experienced diversity and inclusion leader, she developed successful strategies and initiatives in technology, telecommunications, and healthcare including Xerox Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Motorola, and UPMC.
Candi’s business acumen enhances her approach of partnering with senior executives, business process owners, and community leaders to build sustainable practices for the workplace and marketplace. She has delivered inspiring keynotes and lectures all over the world from Beijing to Budapest and served as an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University. She received an MBA from Pepperdine University, a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from UC Berkeley, and completed the Stanford University Executive Human Resources program.
