Andre Allen

Managing Member, EVP of Technology and co-owner of FifthTheory, LLC and Chair of the HRCI Board of Directors

Andre Allen has over 30 years of continuous experience in the testing industry.  Andre began his career in 1989 with Reid Psychological Systems, an Association of Test Publishers (ATP) founding Member Company. Over the past 30 years, Andre has been responsible for the conceptualization and development of large-scale technologies for the secure administration and scoring of assessments.  Andre pioneered many of the technologies that are the basis for assessment, delivery and scoring options for today, including the delivery and real-time scoring of assessments via interactive voice response technology, as well as pre-employment screening assessments via the internet.  In 2002, Andre assisted NCS/Pearson Reid London House in the creation and delivery of the assessment technologies for the large scale workforce mobilization effort with the Transportation Security Administration.   Andre has served as the general manager of the Human Capital Solutions line of business for General Dynamics Information Technology; providing both technology-based assessment solutions, as well as custom training and development solutions.  Overall, Andre’s track record is that of delivering measurable business value through secure, stable and scalable technology architectures.

Andre is currently the Managing Member, EVP of Technology and co-owner of FifthTheory, LLC, an ATP member company that specializes in digital assessments and survey solutions.   Andre is also very passionate about the issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as applied to educational and workplace assessment and is currently the Chair of the DEI in Testing Committee at ATP.  Andre is the Chair of the HRCI Board of Directors.

Andre holds a BS in Information Technology with a concentration in project management, and an MBA with a concentration in information technology management from Capella University.
