Aaron is the Director of Health, Safety and Sustainable Development at Yamana Gold, where he is responsible for a wide range of matters – from the climate change strategy, to ESG investor management, to negotiations with First Nations. Aaron brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, including 15+ years in the mining industry at IAMGOLD, Breakwater Resources, and various consulting roles; with five years in international development previous to that. Aaron holds a BA in Anthropology from St. Francis Xavier University, an MA in International Development from Dalhousie University and an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
