Ruchika Tulshyan

Ruchika Tulshyan is the author of ‘The Diversity Advantage: Fixing Gender Inequality In The Workplace’ (Forbes, 2015/16). She is a prolific speaker and writer on the subject of creating inclusive organizations. Through her consulting arm, Candour LLC, she advises clients on how to powerfully communicate diversity and inclusion strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Ruchika is also an experienced journalist whose articles have appeared in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and Time. She has reported from six cities across four countries. She now maintains a regular column on workplace equity for The Seattle Times. In addition, Ruchika serves as adjunct faculty at University of Washington’s Department of Communication.

In 2016, Ruchika was appointed to the Seattle Women’s Commission, an advisory board to Seattle’s Mayor and City Council on women’s issues. She also received the inaugural “2016 Women in Business and Leadership” award from the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce for her work on advancing gender equality.

Ruchika holds degrees from the London School of Economics and Columbia University.
