Riya Sinha

Co-Founder of Fuzia Mobile App


Riya Sinha is a senior at Palo Alto High School ( Palo Alto, California) and the co-founder of Fuzia, a website and a mobile app dedicated to women empowerment and creativity. She started Fuzia when she was 11 years old, with the aim to help solve gender inequality through using creativity to empower women. Fuzia now has over 3.5 million followers on social media and over 10,000 users. Fuzia has been covered by several online publications around the world, such as Scoop, Bfirst, Empire, and her own school online publication, Paly Voice. In November 2017, she won an “Iconic Teen Entrepreneur” award for her work on Fuzia, awarded by Women Economic Forum in Vancouver, Canada. She has also spoken at several conferences about gender equality and feminism, such as Horasis India 2018 Event (Malaga, Spain), Women of Global Change, and Tedx (Sonoma County).She is also an avid writer, and an award winning student journalist as editor for her school magazine, Verde Magazine.
