Jackie McKinley

Global Sales Director, Dell EMC

Jackie McKinley is a Global Sales Director with Dell EMC. She leads a team of global sales leaders, who are responsible for nine of the largest global Fortune 500 companies. She manages a territory that generates nearly half a billion dollars in revenue. Responsibilities encompass anticipating how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Dell EMC products and services to help her team solve their customer’s business challenges. She is considered a thought leader by advising customers on Dell EMC’s strategic business and technology plans.

She is the first African American Global Sales Director at Dell EMC and strives to pave the way by being a mentor to men and women in Information Technology. Her strengths are in developing talent and being very passionate about creating an environment of inclusion and growth for her sales team.

Jackie has received numerous awards in her Information Technology career, as a result of her keen focus on driving internal processes within her various companies to exceed customer’s expectations.

Jackie was a nominee for Woman of the Year in 2015 for Women in Technology in Atlanta. She was selected as Dell’s Global Account Manager of the Year in 2015 in support of Fortune 500 Companies for Dell. She was selected to be a member of Dell’s President’s Council in 2015 and an inaugural member of Dell’s Sales Advisory Board in 2016. She was selected as Hampton Roads Outstanding Professional Woman in 1992.

Jackie is the first recipient of Southern Company’s Account Manager of the Year Award given to vendors who support Southern Company. She has received the Account Manager of the Year Award twice in 7 years for Southern Company. She received IBM Administrator of The Year Award for North America. She received the first Honeywell Account Manager and Supplier of the Year Awards from Delta Airlines.

Prior to joining Dell EMC, she spent over 17 years at IBM in various leadership positions including a Business Development Executive, AS/400 Systems Engineer, Procurement/Buyer, and College Recruiter.

Jackie has been a pioneer throughout her career. She spent five years in the Aerospace Industry as one of the first women with Honeywell to be a Global Account Executive selling missiles, airplane auxiliary power units, avionics, wheels and brakes and worked on the joint strike fighter program.

Jackie is a member of WISE, a women’s professional leadership group and BRIDGE, a minority leadership group and a leader in her Women of Hope church organization. 

Jackie received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from East Carolina University.

She has been a strong community volunteer focused on Toys for Tots, Back to School Drives for gathering school supplies for needy children and programs for feeding the homeless. She volunteers for the Atlanta Community Food Bank regularly. In her free time, Jackie enjoys fitness activities, reading, international travel with her family, volunteering as part of the women’s ministry at church and motivational speaking.
