Cicily Newby, Founder of Cicily Newby Consulting is a Talent Management strategist and Coach. She is an enthusiastic expert in leadership development, experiential learning, remote team culture, difficult conversations, diverse talent pipeline strategy and career coaching. Cicily has a successful track record in teaching leaders and organizations to develop and retain their internal talent while guiding individuals to excel beyond boundaries to achieve their true potential.

Cicily developed her expertise in the operations and learning organizations within multiple Fortune 500 companies. After years of employing intuition and an entrepreneurial approach within her work, she thought that it was time to broaden her reach and started Cicily Newby Consulting in 2017. Since then, she has coached leaders in corporations, non-profits, universities, government contractors and consulting firms. Her clients are successful in achieving their goals because of Cicily’s ability to teach them to make connections between the lessons that they learn in life, business, and relationships which has proven to be very affective during the challenges of 2020.

Currently, Cicily is launching a project to provide support, talent development, mentorship, and career growth opportunities to women of color in the hospitality and lodging industries.

Cicily completed her bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and MBA at George Mason University. She is an ATD Certified Professional In Talent Development and an Intercultural Development Inventory Administrator. Cicily is a steering committee member of the Georgia Women in Lodging Association and serves on the Leadership Development Committee of the Castell Women in Leadership Project. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Cicily’s favorite roles are to be an ever-evolving partner to her husband and a loving mother,
committed to guiding her daughters to have happiness, develop compassion, focus,
confidence and a fair amount of grit!
