Toyota Financial Services’ GM and Product Owner of Kinto Link

Billie Jo Johnson is Toyota Financial Services’ GM and Product Owner of Kinto Link; new global business model. She is responsible for product vision, product revenue, and expanding the product-footprint globally. Billie Jo recently resided in Nagoya, Japan, serving as Toyota Financial Services Corporation’s Vice President & Program Officer of Global Information Technology (IT) Strategy, responsible for all aspects of strategy development and organizational design for global IT. Billie Jo also served as Information Digital Services General Manager as a member of the IT Leadership Team. She previously served as Group Manager of Enterprise Program and Project Management Office responsible for all aspects of TFS’ EPMO, including portfolio prioritization, portfolio performance, defining, governing, and monitoring of project management policy and methods.

Within the organization, Billie Jo has had oversight responsibility of multiple PMOs as well as the Requirements Center of Excellence. She has led innovation in these areas; establishing and uplifting frameworks and resource capabilities to help PMO customers deliver enterprise initiatives.

Since joining Toyota in 1997, Billie Jo has held many leadership roles, including software/application delivery, communication and change management, project and program management, resource capacity planning and utilization management, global IT strategy development, quality improvement, and organizational change.

In 2013, Billie Jo elevated TFS’ Project and Program Management Office (PMO) to an Enterprise PMO, positioning the PMO as a “business value driven PMO”. In her next assignment, she will develop and drive a new global IT Strategy and Governance framework.
